EMP|SFM offers free admission and live music from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month.

October's All Access Night Activities:

• Performances by local singer/songwriter Ali Marcus at 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm in Sky Church.
  
  Ali Marcus is a combination of Maybelle Carter and Neil Young: one part camp counselor, one part blues harp, one part indie rock. She is an urban folkster, bringing the best of the woods to town and the best of town to the woods. Featured on NPR, in CMJ, the Bluebird Cafe, and festivals all over the Northwest, Ali makes a lot of noise for a small girl and a big guitar.



• A Call to Action, a Headcount documentary, will be screened in JBL Theater throughout the night.
  
  A Call to Action depicts how non-profit organizations have turned the live music community into a politically-influential force.
