Exhibitchin'
60s soul and garage dance party
DetailsCelebrate the resurgence and legacy of 1960s soul at EMP's
Exhibitchin', on Saturday, August 7th from 9:00 pm - 1:00 am. This dance party will feature live music, DJs, cheap drinks and bitchin' surprises all night.
In true 60s tradition, shake it mightily to the soulful sounds of Seattle's The MoonSpinners and the way-out garage go go of The Basements. The non-stop dance party will continue with DJ Lilli and friends spinning soul, mod, and garage rock 45s. Enjoy beer and cocktail drink specials all night.
Dress to impress in 60s-style attire (skinny ties, sequins, party dresses, Beatle boots, etc.) and come prepared to cut a rug; prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. Senior hairstylists from VAIN salon will doing up complimentary beehives and 60s makeovers. Once you've got the look, grab your friends and step into the photo studio of famed rock photographer Lance Mercer, who will be capturing the essence of the evening and taking portraits of the party people.

Forty-six years after the Supremes first topped the record charts on their way to worldwide fame, many of the distinctive gowns that became nearly as famous will be on display at EMP|SFM, in partnership with original Supreme, Mary Wilson. Reflections: The Mary Wilson Supreme Legacy Collection is currently on display at EMP|SFM through September 6. All EMP galleries will be open.
NOTE: No one under 21 years old will be admitted.
